Ah, poor Luke. Most of his parts got cut again becausse of some last minute changes Alex convinced me to do.
Humor chapter. The first one of 2. Unless it's fascinating enough that anyone wants me hear going on about more general mechanics of comedy and how my movies are technically set up, then I can talk forever. Sucks I didn't know this stuff back when I had to do random presentations at elementry/ high school. Then it could actually have been useful. Ah well.

Nice work here, Roger. I especially liked that tangent on Dark Humor and how it can be used. I've never understood why shows like Family Guy take their violence and cruelty to such extreme lengths, but this starts giving a bit of insight on why the humor in that show falls so flat for me. They're shooting for the Detachment Approach ("Ha, ha, look at that stupid random person who has done nothing wrong getting maimed/raped/murdered!") but the detail they go into, the blood and gore, would be better suited to a Moralistic Approach.
