This might have actually worked... had it appeared in late 1943 at least;)
Wouldn't second cockpit a good place to add some armaments to? Or it's a fuel tank?
jynxalot's avatar
That would be one fast monster.
Amazing job, it looks beautiful

The Germans actually did this with the Me-309 project. It's more than likely someone in their aircraft design shop followed that up with a Fw-190 twin design.

WOW!... Did you imagine it or is it based on a real german project?
rOEN911's avatar
Nahh just my idea but you know Germans they might have the same idea also !

Well they did something like that with the Bf109. I think they called it the "BF109 ZWILLING"...

That's why I asked :D

Nice detail here of future and old world technology, love the afterburner effect on the small craft.

Perfect, as usual.

This is awesome. Where'd you get a Ta 152 Zwilling model? Never even heard of such a design.

You should've composed this with an Me 609 rather than this Ta 152 mutant.

Good stuff anyway.

Those double-hull things... just useless. The second hull just obstructs the view.

And that other thing... the force is with this design, I can feel it with my midi-chlorians.

This was actually done with the P-51 Mustang after WWII.  I  believe it was used primarily for recon.
Baryonyx62's avatar
If the other hull actually has someone sitting in it, okay.
