Howdy! I no longer post art to this site but if you've stumbled upon my page welcome!
DeviantArt was my starting point as an Artist. I made my first account here over a decade ago at the age of 14. I didn't have many friends in school, but I made countless friends on this site and spending my days here was what got me thru highschool and college. I went through many phases with my art which while I may cringe at today, I also reminisce on how free it was.
Some of the friends I made here are still my friends to this day. Some of them I've met in real life and we've all grown up together. It's bitter sweet to say goodbye to a site that was such a key part of my developmental years, but I know a lot of us are still out there, just living our lives or pursuing new projects elsewhere.
I did everything young me wanted me to do on this site. I made friends with many talented artists, got a Daily Deviation, and even had a fan club at one point! I'll miss that childhood nostalgia of being a kid making Sonic OCs or MLP OCs, but I'm also happy with who I've become and where I'm at today so I don't think I'll leave this site with regrets. I hope you guys won't leave with regrets either, and thank you for stopping by. Thank you for reading, and I'll see you all again somewhere else!
