Still Alive, and Thanks to All of You.

Still Alive, and Thanks to All of You.'s been like, three years now since I've posted something here. Looking at my page stats, it looks like views are (expectedly) down, but I'm still pleasantly surprised that people *are* still visiting, favoriting, and even watching me! Anyways, the reason I'm mentioning this is not in some pathetic, narcissistic sort of woe-is-me thing, but rather to emphasize that this was a factor in me deciding whether I should go back to making public works. So...for those of you that still follow me, I'm probably gonna be back soon. Life's changed quite a bit in the past three years - especially so since the days of weekly uploads and whatnot in the early 2010s. Those were amazing, interesting times for me, where I learned a lot about art, design, papercrafting, and strangely enough, myself. However, my life has went in crazy directions since those days. I'm in my (hopefully) final semester at the maritime academy; I've passed my officer's exams, and my priorities in life have thus

Hey guys give me money I have T-shirts n stuff

Wellp, opened up a Redbubble shop, so if you guys want trendy designs made by a mediocre papercraft and graphic designer, now's your chance!

Finally Started a new model!

Finally Started a new model!

Hey all, Just wanted to say how great things have been these past few months. I'm surprised how despite my hiatus, I'm still somehow getting 100+ views daily! While my life has indeed shifted focus to my studies, I haven't abandoned model designing. I'm almost done with my first model after this hiatus and will hopefully post the finished result soon. Anyways, have a progress thread: Thanks for everything, V/R, Bryan Tan

Hi Bryan. I like your papercraft creations, so if it is not a bother, I'll watch you.
I have been papercrafting for less than two months (although I have folded origami for many years).
Come and visit this julofi account about papercraft or the origami one, that is called figuer.
Really loving the nostromo ya got there, amazing paper craft work you should check out my alien replicas.

Can you edit this… and make the template pattern design similar to your other stahlhelm? Found this to be a little more accurate (by shape) and want it simple using the "ringed pattern" like your other stahlhelm. Thanks :)
back before i joined deviant art and was just getting into models i stumbled on this DA page filled with crazy awesome paper models.  don't think i was ever able to complete one and was just extremely amazed by your creativity and craftsmanship. the eye for detail, subject matter and scale awesomeness was a HUGE source of inspiration to me.

I never really thought i would get good at anything artistic, and never did get all that great at papercraft(really still amazed) but that inspirational spark led me down the path to my current hobby.  while i am nooo means a master, i have reached a place i ever thought i would be. every time i am cruising around artisan crafts and see your work, it gives me a spark of creatively to this day.

anywho not to ramble on or gush, but sometimes its nice to know you do very fine work that has inspired probably more than you know.  Good to hear things are going good for you and you are still creating.

Wow...I don't know what to say, really. It means a lot to hear that my work has actually inspired even one person such as yourself; makes my whole endeavour worthwhile, haha

Your work is nothing short of amazing; don't sell yourself short for that! I'm just glad I had a small part to do with your accomplishments. I may be busier now that I'm at the academy, but if you ever need any help, or just want to talk, feel free to shoot me a personal message.
