This is an idea I've kind of been nursing for some time. It sort of came from this video (it starts at around the 3:05 mark of the video). -> www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcgrlZ…
Yeah, wild idea, right? Well, recently, the idea sort of started brewing in my mind about how to get a game like that to work. I don't think I can recall all of it, but I think it went through a different iteration before I settled on this. First, I thought that maybe Tiger Woods secretly moonlighted as a werewolf hunter. However, I didn't go with it, obviously. In the end, I eventually came up with this idea of what the game would be.
The story of the game is as follows. A brand new golf course has opened up, and Tiger Woods has been invited to the opening ceremony. As part of said ceremony, Tiger is asked to be the first person to tee off on the course. Tiger proceeds to do just that, but when he does, his club ends up striking the ground and taking a huge chunk of it out. However, that's not the only thing that goes flying. Tiger Woods ended up knocking a silver object out of the ground as well. The object is damaged by the club as well, and breaks apart, the pieces scattering to multiple different areas. As this happens, dark clouds start forming in the sky, and lightening starts striking the ground. When it does, werewolves start appearing all over the place. Naturally, the people start panicking and immediately scatter. Tiger however, stays rooted to the ground, frozen on the spot at what is happening around him. He, however, is saved from one of the werewolves by what he discovers is a the spirit of a Native American.
The spirit informs Tiger Woods that the land on which the golf course was built is cursed, haunted by werewolves. His people managed to counter the curse by burying silver medallions in the ground, one of which Tiger Woods just broke. All the medallions must be buried in the ground for the counter to work. Now, the werewolves are back.
Tiger Woods, realizing what's going on, decides he has to find those pieces of the broken medallion and reassemble it. To that end, the spirit enchants Tiger Woods' putter, turning it pure silver, the one thing that can hurt the werewolves. So, with that, Tiger Woods sets off on his quest to find the medallion pieces.
So, yeah, that's what I think the story of the game would be. The last thing I came up with for the game was the title. Nothing came to me until the title you now see came to mind. I hope that it's good enough for it.
I decided to put it on the Wii initially because the guy who made the video is a huge Nintendo fanboy. Besides, who wouldn't want to take on werewolves in the Wii style? I decided to put it on the PS3 & Xbox 360 as well so those consoles aren't left out.
Anyway, hope you like it. Be sure to comment (seriously, do).
