Blue Overhead

Spring has to be the best time of year to go on a hike in our region of New Jersey, United States. While it's usually warm and the sun blazes strongly, humidity's uncommon and the outside has a certain freshness to it. A rain event was ending and the last batch of clouds were headed away from us. Near the summit of South Mountain Reservation's Orange Mountain, with its more sparsely-populated tree cover, the blueness of the spring evening was really able to shine through.
