Description
We reached the peak of fall leaf change color in the beginning of November, and that's when I decided I go for a walk in the forest with the camera. This was not taken at South Mountain Reservation; this is a narrow strip of forest within walking distance of where I live. The sun was setting to the front of where I was standing, so getting everything I was photographing to be a black silhouette was simple. The drop-like object in the line of focus is the luscious red berry of the Japanese Barberry. Unfortunately or not, the Japanese Barberry shrub is an invasive species in the United States. Download the photograph if you want; let me know how I did!
