In my experience, there are few people on the planet that can make you feel as guilty as a kid caught with a hand in the cookie jar than an irate martial arts teacher.
...and that's all I got for today. I am in stage 3 of Robin's Revolving Door of Illness Symptoms (stage 1 was PAIN, stage 2 was PAIN IN NEW PLACE, and stage 3 has been eternal coughing/sneezing) for the past five days and I have no energy for deep, soul-searching musings at the moment. Especially since there's a 50/50 chance they would descend into feverish ramblings. Or that this is ALREADY a feverish rambling. WHO KNOWS? Maybe Mr. Cough Syrup can tell us...
...Ask again later? WHHHHAAAAT it turns out Mr. Cough Syrup was a magic 8 ball ALL ALONG. WHAT A TWIST. Mind. Blown.
Yeaaaaaaah goodnight folks.
Oh I don't know - one of my primary school teachers would probably give this irate martial arts teacher a run for his money o_o
If discipline had a sound, that would be it. XD
Go easy on Mr. Cough Syrup, Robin. He can't be deep all the time, either.
I guess I just have very high expectations of Mr. Cough Syrup. He promises so much. Yet lately has delivered so little. But perhaps he's under unusual amounts of strain. *hacks out a lung*
I think that guy might need to pull the enormous stick he's obviously got wedged up his butt. But then this is martial arts...
I modeled a lot of this man's behaviors off of a teacher I had for a couple years. The guilt trips & lectures...whooo...they could get pretty intense. In the end, I decided I had enough of that in my life as is. Ah well.
Yikes, I never do cope well with authority figures like that. >.<
Yeah...turns out I didn't either.
That's rough :\
Eh. Learned a lot of valuable things. In particular, guilt is only effective as a weapon if one agrees to be shamed. When I stood true to my own values and principals rather than those of the other person, I found that I felt none of the guilt that the other party was attempting to impose on me, and thus became free.
I did not realize that Discipline was a sound.... Cool!
