My Bio
Middle aged guy, married, with kids.
Factory worker by day (or night, depending on the shift)
I used to draw like a madman in my youth, but as I 'matured' I became distracted and left my first love on the side of the road and moved on.
Currently on a mission to complete all the DIY projects I've left unfinished at home so I can refocus on ART, guilt free.

Favourite Visual Artist
Too many to name. Seriously. My earliest inspirations came from Boris Vallejo and comic book greats like Jim Lee, Walt Simonson, Arthur Adams, John Byrne, and many, many more. Not to mention the multitude of great artists here on dA on my watch list.

Lost, Desperate Housewives,The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones

I have a love/hate relationship with games

Tools of the Trade
Tried out the Wacom Bamboo Create on a Mac Mini. Felt awkward viewing it on a 47" screen in my living room though. Kicking around the idea of a Wacom Cintiq 22 HD
Other Interests
Looking at the work of all the talented artists at dA. So inspiring, if I could stop looking at it, I'd make some art of my own. Damn it! :D

Not sure how the dictionary defines it, but for me, it's the ability to start something and see it through right until the end. Starting anything is relatively easy, but the finish, the details, those damn little details that make any project shine have always been a weakness. Projects at home are progressing well, cannot wait until all the stuff I've put off finishing are DONE, so I can spend all my effort and energy on becoming the artist I've always wanted to become.

What do you love?

Seeing as how I've now spent the better part of a month literally drowning myself in Deviant Art, filling my heart and soul with wondrous examples of imagination and creativity, I figured it was time to start putting pencil to paper. Almost immediately I found myself wondering, what to draw? At this point, I realized that I was no longer sure exactly what I love, what inspires me. In my youth it was easy. Comic books. I spent countless hours copying, studying and imitating the works of my favorite artists. Eventually I found myself frustrated with my level of skill (or lack thereof) which led to the pursuit of suitable books on anatomy, pers

Thanks my friend for the Favs,
Darling, I try to respond to all the comments I receive from my friends but you posted so many that I was afraid I couldn't possibly do them all justice and would just sound like I was rubber-stamping them. You have been so kind in your comments that I didn't want to risk that and so, if you don't mind, I will send you this one, big, sincere thank you for being so sweet. Thank you so much!
