Reality in the bubble

Faux life, real death

Idea: after one gets too much into own bubble, this bubble can easily be poisoned and the person sent to death or at least strong unescapable pain. No, actually...escapable, but you'll have to break your bubble for that, and it's pretty hard to realise how to do it. Once you're so accomodated to it, can you realise that it's not actual real life?

Might rescan later. But those two pieces only go together, as the "life" part by itself would seem unnecessarily attractive (well, it is!).

It is quite a "mixed media", with different ballpens and liners (Faber-Castell) used together with watercolour.

Sorry if it's creepy. I wanted to draw this wasp methaphor for years. I'm not sure if I'll continue to expose the "story" in this morbid direction, but this one is necessary to express, I think.

The bubble doesn't feel so round, of course, but since it's a bubble of illusions and thoughts, everything can happen inside. Sometimes it can't be controlled, huhu~

I remember feeling sick from just looking at her face on the right piece. The shadows on her skin are made with a hint of blue to give the syncopic impression.

It's a re-submit with photoshop adjusting, in better quality, etc. Previously scanned version went to scraps
