Before taking the day's first Leighton Buzzard Railway train from Pages Park Station, I saw a steam locomotive, diesel locomotive and electric locomotive working together: Sydenham Ironstone Quarry / Bilston Steelworks 0-6-0 tank engine Doll (Andrew Barclay, 1919) steamed up in front of the shed while LBNGR diesel Beaudesert (Alan Keef, 1999) pulled one rake of coaches out of the shed and Royal Air Force battery-electric NG23 (Baguley-Drewry, 1973 & Andrew Barclay, 1987) waited its turn to shunt another rake of coaches for the second train.
