Despite the name, this 1895 Chicago Benton Harbor Motorcycle is the oldest car preserved at the AACA Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Back then, "motorcycle" could be the term for any motor vehicle with wheels.  This car was probably the first car in America to be built from scratch, rather than modified from a horse-drawn carriage, and it competed in a race organized by the Chicago Times-Herald newspaper.  A 7.5-horsepower engine propelled the car to 23 miles per hour.  It was donated to the AACA Museum by the Kolzows of Morrison, Illinois.
