Who's planning to see Union Pacific "Big Boy" 4014 or another operating steam locomotive this year?

Favorite narrow-gauge locomotive? I thought of the question after finding some more pictures from my two visits to Wales.

"You will not find it difficult to prove that battles, campaigns, and even wars have been won or lost primarily because of logistics." - Dwight D Eisenhower Today is June 6 -- D-Day in the West and Memorial Day here in Korea -- and an appropriate occasion to share pictures of two U.S. Army Transportation Corps S160 Consolidations I have seen, both built by Baldwin in 1943. USATC 2253 was displayed at the Locomotion Museum in Shildon, England when I visited in August 2015 and was wearing black with the British, American and Polish flags on the bufferbeam to represent its service in the USATC, LNER and PKP. USATC 2630 served stateside as a trainer at Fort Eustis, Virginia and was displayed in green at the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum in Sugarcreek, Ohio when I visited in October 2020.

Thank you for the faves! :)

Thank you for the favourite.

Thanks for the fav! :)

Have you once visited the netherlands?

Not yet, but I would like to see more of Europe once it's possible to travel out of Korea and back without needing to quarantine! So far the only countries in "continental Europe" (excluding UK and Russia) I have seen are France and Spain. What do you recommend seeing in the Netherlands?

Like recommend museums?

Museums and anything else that comes to mind.
