Now the doctor get as a patient something from that what she has long deserved! A little bit rest, but I think, that she surely don't want in such a wayGiggle

Miss Grates seems to be suprised to meet her doc in the bed next to her. And man... she must be so curious that she is trying to lift her a little bit out of her bed to have a better sight of her doc.

On the other hand it seems Miss Doctor is going to enjoy the time of "nothing to do". Who knows, for how long she has to wait for some holidays! Maybe she had to work every day with no chance of relaxation. Just look how much she has to do the last years!

It's better than nothing, isn't it.

And what do you think: How big is the chance that she is going to cast her patients again while still wearing a cast on her own?

Great work, friend! We are always more impatient to follow every new growth of the story, waiting when the poor doctor will can start her convalescence at home (full, of course, of dangerous traps!)

Special mention for the doctor's shirt, a piece of clothing intended to pass directly from the wardrobe to the dustbin.

That very long-sleeved shirt (wisely low-necked...), once of a beautiful black, is now white because of the plaster dust and the fingerprints of the nurses while they put in plaster her leg and arm.

Unfortunately there’s no dry cleaner’s for that shirt...
To set her left arm in plaster, in fact, they had to tear off the sleeve of the shirt which, at this point, could at most serve as a rag for the floor of the poor doctor's hospital room ...
She’s a wreck, the poor thing, exactly like her shirt...
That’s quite a fall from grace...

Yes I guess her shirt is done. Even a dry cleaner canont fix the cut sleeve

Wow, the fractured doctor with her brand-new white big leg in traction is simply wonderful!

Her gaze, while she does her best to be reassuring with her roommate "buried in the plaster", is somewhat bewildered and lost.
She’s confused and disoriented, and it’s not hard to see why, for having passed in no time on the other side (undoubtely the wrong one) of the fence.

A drastic change of perspective for the hyperactive doctor, accustomed to moving gracefully between the emergency room and the cast room, to pronounce severe diagnoses in front of aching and terrified patients and to see their expressions, more and more bothered and upset, while their broken limbs are being set in plaster.
Often the same doctor, with a satanic grin, has withdrawn shoes with high heels from the hands of a trembling patient, saying to her: "I take these for you, ma’am, you won't need them for much longer...".

She, of all people, accustomed to moving with ease between the hospital wards, to check the status of patient's plaster casts while carrefully reading their medical reports, followed by the usual queue of nurses with the drug cart and the other items needed for their personal hygiene of the poor hospitalized women.

She, of all people, who used to spend a word of comfort with every patient (often on the verge of a nervous breakdown due to the discomfort of the lying down position, the inconvenience of the heavy plaster casts and the pain of fractures), gently stroking their forehead and telling them to grit their teeth and hold on.

She, of all people, inevitably envied by all her unlucky patients for her enviable physical form and for her splendid shoes with high heels, always worn naturally and with ease.

Exactly she, of all people, who now (and who knows for how long) is stuck in a hospital bed (inside her hospital!), ready to receive the usual visit of the nurses (her nurses!) who will not fail to address her smirks and teasings for her leg in a cast.

The poor doctor knows more than well that for the beginning of the "nice" ritual of signatures (and doodles) on her big plaster cast is only a matter of time!

Very nice picture!  The doc is lucky to "only" have an LLC and LAC.  It looked like her leg was really smashed in the original picture.  Probably damaged her wrist when she fell.  The arm sling is a nice touch.

It would be nice if all the characters have names so we can follow them from one misfortune to the next.  For example, those in the "Don't Walk" follow-up pictures will be very interesting.

I just updated all the picutres back to 2016 with names for all the characters and also linked to the previous and next picture for every character. It was a pain in the ass to do but I am glad that I did it ;-)

Yes the one on the left is the doc, the one on the right is the lady from Dangerous grates and also the one from the bed which crashed into the doc.

Seeing her casts, I suppose this is not a dangerous grate, but a killing one.
