I don't know what it is about these two that I so love, but squeezing them together into one drawing is so much fun >^>

:iconmayrasiili:'s ever so charming Ashley and Scylla's very own self having some minor chit-chat. I was hoping to throw some dialogue in as well, but I suppose what they say can be left to the imagination

Well I'll be, I honestly can't keep up with how quickly you seem to improve >:O Stop progressing so quickly, I say! Also curse be on you, you magnificent bastard.

I honestly love what you've done to the pair of these rascals. Both Scylla and Ashley seem to boast rather interesting design choices, and I adore how clearly you've managed to make the distinction between the harder and softer scales here, as well as how you've handled the reflections :o
Scylla has really grown into me, I have to admit. I really liked her design to begin with, but over time I've grown quite fond of it, even. It slowly starts to evoke feelings of familiarity with me and that is one part I like about characters. While she hasn't generally had any major revamps done in this particular drawing, I'm glad to see you've gotten a hang of how she looks, because the design has been very consistent over the past pictures. The little sharp scales on her brow ridge looked like sort-of eyelashes in the previous versions, so it's interesting to be able to discern them to be scales this close. I think it brings a good contrast to her otherwise uniform and rather bulky head 'ornament' and gives focus to her lovely eyes. The slender snout is also something I really like, since I am a huge sucker for elegant characteristics. And as per usual, there's a lot of expressiveness to her, although I find it interesting that the more expressive parts of her are her smaller side-heads rather than the main head :o It would be interesting to know how sentient those two are or if they are just a part of or subservient to her cerebrum...
As for Ashley, I really like what you've done with the little girl~ You have a lovely little knack for taking a design and then making it your own, since all the characteristics of Ashley are there, but all come with a lovely little twist! Her face for one is way more expressive than what I can do even at my best, and little details like that are littered everywhere. What I really find most interesting are her horns, which you've given slight curvature, and DAMN THEY LOOK GOOD. All I can think of is "why didn't I think of that" xD Her eye is absolutely gorgeous as well <3 I appreciate how attentive to detail you've been with her eye, the colours are all correct and the pupil and especially the iris are so pleasing to look at. My absolute favourite are, however, the reflections on her plate scales. Rough as they may be, it really gives the feeling of light and items being reflected off of her scales, which is something that I have yet to understand at all how to create. While I have not yet decided just what kind of material the plate scales are, I think I'd be quite willing to make them as reflective as you've shown them to be. I also love how the softness of your drawing style has made its way even to the very angular style of mine :o Good work!

All in all, damn you for giving me all these good ideas xD
Also I can so imagine these two being BFF's for lyfe.

Also is the little head on the right just yawning or is some dragon butt going to be nommed soon? D8
