The broken wheel stood tall at the entrance of the village it’s doors closed if not for the sight as Elrona being pushed outside of them forcefully. Est rolled his bicolored eyes, the black standard beginning to walk forward. He didn’t know what possessed him to do so but the flustered alpha looked at him and had the audacity to ask for his help. For a minute Rester debated just leaving, let some other fel deal with it. On the edge of the stormy sea
The waves crashed against the shore as Hudson took in a deep breath. His curled ears twitched to the sound of the gulls as they flew across the wild waters. Part of him thought that perhaps traveling across the hingerige in its rage would be a sort of passage. As his thick paws pressed into the wet sand his icy blue eyes searched the shore for another of his fellow hellhounds.
“This weather really is ugly don’t you think Hudson?” The black hellhound sheriff greeted Hudson with a slight scowl. Yet as he stepped forward he ran his black head underneath the crook of Hudson’s frosty midnight fur. A sign of affection if any. Hudson smiled and nodded softly.
“Ugly is a word for it, hongerige has always been a place of turmoil with these waters. What do you fancy trying to find a boat to cross?” A wild idea by Hudson if any. Hudson shuffled slightly, licking his tongue over his back tusks in his mouth. What interesting things would they find over here on the edge of this raging sea?
The sleigh bells were ringing and Feltide was in full swing around the villages of ulfrheim. In Geeko’s little hut on the edge of town however he was sitting on the wooden floor with a few objects out in front of him. The short coated merle brown male scrunching his eyes trying to pick what gift he would prepare.
“I don’t get this sort of stuff.” Teach grumbled softly. “The art of wrapping things for others, I’d keep it all myself.” The standard ashen cream male was poking at a few candy canes that were laying on the buildings floor. Faline was already sorting through various wrapping papers. Some were red and green, others a festive array of red with white snowflakes. It was kind of hard to decide. Faline tilted her head, sitting her bobtailed rump on the floor as the patchworked felvarg gave a sigh.
“Just pick a gift and help me wrap it then Teach. I’ll let ya keep something if you do. It’s all about enjoying the surprise inside!” Geeko stated spreading his paws out wide. He
Many felvarg travelled to the village of hearth for these things. Every year for Feltide they ran a snowman building competition. Where each felvarg could come across these hills and build the biggest or most well decorated snowman in the land. Of course, Teach was only here because there was supposed to be prize money involved. Geeko, just wanted to build a snowman. As for Faline well, she also simply wanted to join in on the festivities.
Faline bumped her shoulder into Geeko’s short fur. Her own bobtail gives her rump a wiggle. She lifted a white paw encouraged with the golden crackle that broke up her fur and pushed it against one of Geeko’s browned merle spots.
“I’m gonna make sure to beat all of you, sorry no hard feelings.” Teach boasted as he pressed an ashen cream paw to his white hooded chest. The three of them stood at the starting line waiting for the judge to give the group of them the go ahead. There were a few other competitors waiting at the line and clearly the
Faline had heard rumors about these woods in ulfrheim. The patchwork bobtailed felvarg had grown increasingly curious about the information that lay inside these rumors. Along the way she had run into two felvarg she had met before. Not long ago they had searched for treasure along the beaches. Geeko, a young short coated male sported brown colors and darker brown merle had joined in the curious implication of a special hunt. Teach, an ashen cream with a white hood couldn’t resist the temptation to get a hold of something so valuable.
The rumors stated in the dead of winter, where the evergreens were covered in snow, these forests held a very special moose who could fetch a large price. The snow would make the terrain difficult to transgress. Teach however already had a plan in place. While he stepped forward lifting his nose to sniff the air he felt the cold sting of the winter while his breath puffed up in clouds.
“It’s hard to smell anything in this weather. How in
Ulfrheim was silent. The clouds covering the sky added to the winter's chilling cold. As Teach stood at the edge of the dock taking in the smell of the sea air. How much the ashen cream wanted to simply be out at sea but he’d been told that he, Geeko and Faline were tasked to find a special treasure on the shores. Faline the white and brown spotted felvarg had just been passing by when she asked what the two were up to. Geeko on the other hand had walked right up to Teach and said let’s go on an adventure which is how all of this started.
The terrain hadn’t quite gotten that winter glimmer yet. The sand looked more gray, the grass edging the beaches covered in a frosty glow. Teach turned to his companions stepping back onto the beach to join them as they prepared to go about their little adventure. The goal is to find some sort of shiny artifact by Teach’s request. He was hoping to sell it off for a large sum of fel credits. Geeko the short brown male with merle walked
Natsu….
“Natsu!” His head snapped up from where he'd been napping. He could see it now, Lucy staring at him with that stern look on her face. "The train is about to leave. What are you doing, falling asleep here?” Before she could hit him over the head, he grabbed her shoulders. Then he swung her around and ran towards the platform.
“Gotta sleep when I can, don't I?" Natsu yelled as he looked back to see Lucy trying to get her composure back. He stopped at the edge of the concrete station that overlooked the garden. “I don't even want to ride this thing, but you said it's the only way to that island thingy,” he complained. Lucy was catching up to him as they waited at the train station.
Of course, Natsu was at Lucy’s mercy on the train. He complained the whole time about his sickness. Without Happy here for this trip, he was in a worse mood. He resisted the urge to puke as he clung to Lucy in her seat. Using her lap as a resting place.
"Oh, stop being such a crybaby. You jumped
Carter watched as merry felvarg partied in this extravagant hall. Vidar again had invited him out to the village of Bardr. During the events of hollows eve no less. Vidar seemed lively, the ashen black had been ordering drinks left and right and it had been like this for some time now. Carter was beginning to think that this was awfully strange. If not for the blaring music given off by the band and the merry costumes scattered about the establishment. Ghouls and ghosts, pumpkins adjourning the tables that were littered with food eaten and uneaten.
“Vidar maybe you should slow down a little” Carter suggested the brown felvarg placing a paw over the others next drink. Vidar raised an eyebrow at the fel, sharp fangs protruding from his mouth almost seemed to shiver as his mouth moved over the cup. Carter lay his ears back and looked around.
“Maybe you shouldn’t be such a party pooper, come on have a drink Carter before some dark beast comes to curse you.” Vidar joked as he shoved a
The moon was shining brightly on the village of Skalaness tonight. Blue light filtering through the buildings as quiet night time felvargs moved about. Quiet probably wasn’t the correct word though from what Carter and Vidar could see the streets were lined with all decor for hollows eve. Carved pumpkins sat outside doors, their eyes emitting an orange glow on the sandy roads between huts. Carter and Vidar had just been a couple of felvargs stopping by Skalaness to check out the festivities.
Carter, the brown standard, looked across the emptying streets. It seemed like they were heading in a more desolate direction. Vidar’s ears pointed forward, the ashen black felvarg giving a stern look at the sides of the streets. His fangs poked out from his gums, horns rubbing against his maned coat while he lifted a long furred leg towards an alley.
“I think I just saw a few felvargs go down here, maybe there’s more of the market this way?” Vidar stated in a gruff tone as Carter came to stand
