Seriously, I missed the golden age of armored heroes, like Saint Seiya, Ronin Warriors, Shulato, etc.
These days, that kind of genre is generally abandoned by many writers, changed into the thing many people call "moeblobs" or "harem".
It's not like it's completely lost from the list of anime these days, but it's really rare now.
And with that, I can't say that I hate moe and fanservice stuff, I'm not an "oldfag" who can't deal with modern show.

But yeah, I miss good ol' days.
It's not bad to have that kind of genre back in this age, you know.
The staffs can even sell the action figures. Remind me of Saint Cloth Myth franchise that costs an arm and a leg (not literally), and people in my country who own those kind of action figures are avid fans who had an actual job. They have communities and those are not small ones.

That's why I am one of the people who actually hyped when anime like Sacred Seven (yeah, google it, I actually watch that show), Symphogear, and Yuki Yuna aired.
I also tried to support the creators with buying the original merchandises regularly, so I always wish that this kind of genre don't die out there in the sea of moeblobs and boring harem show.

Oh my god, Ronin Warriors! I miss that anime show, it was awesome! I grew up watching it and then bought the DVDs when they came out.
"Ryo of Wildfire, Kento of Hardrock, Rowen of the Strata, Sage of the Halo, Saï of the Torrent!" :D

Yeah, the show was kickass. First watching it when I was a kindergartener, and I rewatched it not too long ago.
Too bad I didn't love the OSTs, because somewhat sounded not shonen-ish. But I love the story and fight scenes.

Concrete Revolutio? My friend in college recommended that one to me, but I didn't bother searching. Maybe I'll try looking for it later.

It's more of a drama about heroes than a hero show, but it's still really good.

I see. I saw it's already on 20th episode.
Maybe I'll watch it when it's done.

Was Active Raid good? I heard that it missed the hype train.
But the armor design was sick.

I see.
"Okay" is never a reason to be included in hype train.
But still, unpopular never means it's bad. I'll try checking it out.

Cheer up, there's actually a lot less moe blobs or harem shows than ever before. Saint Seiya Omega and Saint Seiya Souls of Gold were stupendous. And this season alone we have Ushio and Tora and a new season of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Though neither are quite armored heroes they prove that older style isn't going anywhere.

I know what you mean about Symphogear though. At the end of season one when their gear transformed for the first time all I could think about was when Seiya achieved a god cloth. They really do look similar.

You made me remember that I must finish Saint Seiya Omega. I believe I was stalling myself at episode 94-95.

Ushio and Tora, aahh. Should watch the 2nd season.
I'm not into Jojo so I'm leaving that out. It's not that I dislike the show though, it's just not my taste.

Yeah man, at first I was watching Symphogear I can only hope that this one will be like magical warrior I used to watch, and then the upgrade scene happen--*sudden nostalgia vibe approaches my spine*, the next thing happened was I got hyped as f.

No worries about Jojo, it is rather "Bizarre". Yeah definitely go back to Omega, it only got better as it went, wait you stopped around ep 94? Yeah definitely go back, you were almost done!
