I've always believed that HDR is one of the most tricky and specific methods for Photo Editing and that it requires a smart artists who knows what shot to use HDR for and what setting.
The Artist here certainly used HDR in a totally smart way making the photo look ten times better than what it looks like prior to HDR treatment.
I'm falling in love with the vibrant colors on the buildings, specifically the ones on the right, the give life to the whole scene. the rest of the image is also perfectly vibrant and breathtaking.
The angle of the photo is covering different parts of that section of the city, the buildings, the small river, the large waterscape, the boats, the sunset
I believe it's a great way of presenting the beauty of a city on a brochure or a photographic book about a city.
