Well, I'm going to break this down like the categories on the right.

Vision: i believe that before the editing this photo looked very different, so i gave you 5 stars because having the ability when you take a photo to plan ahead how to edit it is impressive.

Originality: Trees are photographed more than enough, I even have one photo myself, but this one is a mess, it is dry, and it is broken at some parts, unlike the usual perfect looking tree.

Technique: placing the sun behind a subject is usually considered wrong, because the subject would turn out dark, but somehow you got around this problem, and having the sun behind the tree made really look like a "Tree of Life"

Impact: hmmm, this is hard to put in words, but when i saw it, it really did make me feel like you have found the mythical tree of life, and that is more than enough for me.

Keep up the awesomeness :P
Ahmad.

That is a really amazing looking tree. The trunk is so twisted yet the way the branches and leaves spread, the top of the tree makes a very nice arc. The halo effect around the tree is great, and definitely adds a mystical feeling. The fact this is the only tree in the photo really adds to that feeling. The texture of the rocks add a nice contrast to the leaves and the emptiness of the sky. The monotone color scheme works really well.

For critique -

The picture is just a little out of focus. This is probably too late to fix now, but if some of the details in the foreground were a little sharper (like the rocks) I think it would work better.

I don't really like how there are gaps in the top branches and leaves from the light. It reminds me of my own camera--it will do this to thin tree branches even if the sun is on the other side of the sky, it's very annoying! So that might be a personal annoyance more than anything.

very pretty! i think it is fine as is. i would like to see one where you crop a little off the top, like where it goes down about one eighth of the picture

I'm glad you like it and umm I tried to do so before submitting it on DA, but honestly it was better this way, when the entire subject is shown within the frames, but I'm also preparing an alternate version of it to be released soon, along other artworks I made that were pretty much fit for the idea I have in mind.

thanks again

The tree of life it is. I love the title of this picture and the tree itself. Its such a beautiful picture and such a nice angle. You are lucky to see such tree face to face :)

Yeah. I see a lot of photos and well the ones that catch my eyes are trees. Sometimes, I can't believe that the tree's position is natural :D
