I'm a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota, born January 2nd, 1980. In terms of career, I tutor online and run a library homework help program that caters primarily to East African immigrants. Socially speaking, I'm happily single with ties to the local science fiction community, and I've been roleplaying on MUCKs since 1999.
In terms of creative work, I write novels, stories, poems and songs, both original and fannish. Though I'm trying, I'm not published yet, aside from a print-on-demand interactive novel I wrote called _What Is Best?_ (I used to have a website--until I get it running again, I'll list the store page for the book instead.) I also love games of many kinds and have been known to design my own from time to time.
Just out of curiosity, what do you like roleplaying? D&D, fantasy or maybe something custom ?
I played D&D in college! I've tried various systems in one-shots at conventions, but mainly I like freeform roleplaying on MUCKs. I've helped run some MUCKs in my day! These days I also run a nearly system-free Discord text campaign, and a friend of mine has started a space opera game with a system based on human psychology. And the other day I ran a little game with the Labyrinth RPG book.
Whoa! This I can call a roleplay experience. I started playing with it recently just sometimes it's hard to combine work and pleasure. I started classically with D&D but also fell in love with CP2020 and Call of Cthulhu. When I was a bit younger I used to play a lot on PBF (play by forum) but the days of such fun seem to have passed, at least in my country. I'll have to try a text game via Discord someday!
My father used to run Call of Cthulu.
Never played it myself. And I'm not familiar with CP2020. I have respect for forum play--I've read some, but haven't indulged. Unless you count roleplaying on places like fanfiction.net in private messages!
