NaNo 07 Kingdom - PreludeIt was an ordinary day. The land was at peace, the people were not warring (at least, not anywhere nearby the kingdom) and even normally ferocious carnivore animals seemed more mellow. It was rather strange then, that a man had set on a journey with a heavy heart. The brightly shining sun did no raise his spirits, but he looked at the land around him in a bit of a sorrow. His face showed lines of worry.The man rode his horse on a well-travelled road, in a peaceful trot so as to take his time. Every now and then small groups of happily chatting peasants passed by him going in another direction. They only glanced at him, not recognizing his status in the kingdom. Well, how could they know? The man did not travel much by himself and a high position which included him a lot of responsibilities. But for this time, he had taken a little vacation of sorts, anyway. Even his clothes did not betray much of him. The man had dressed as simply as he could, but he still looked more nobility

TMC - Part 1 - Chp. 3Gil and Grul were walking side by side on the beach, getting sand between their toes. Gil was frowning and looking inland, trying to figure out what direction they should start heading for. Grul stared in the opposite direction, watching the waves come closer from the horizon. Then Gil stopped and fiddled with her fingers a bit. Grul stopped a few steps ahead and turned to watch her expectantly. Gil narrowed her eyes."I think... Yes, I think we should head out from here on, now..." Gil started hopping away from Grul. Grul glanced at the ocean one more time, before following Gil.As they got away from the ocean and the beach, Gil slowed down. She watched her feet, paused and took some steps."This feels kind of weird, you know... Feet are odd", she mumbled. She rolled the heel of her foot to the grass thoughtfully. Grul waited for her patiently, glancing back at the sea a couple of times. After a while Gil finally stopped jumping around. She waved for Grul to follow her."So... I guess
