A Victorian Gentle(wo)man

Yes, this is me. Why am I cross-dressing? And why, if I'm wearing mens' clothing, does it have to be Victorian style dress? 
To cut a long story short, my aunty bought Gamma a pair of pants and Mum asked me if I wanted them. Weirdo that I am, I said yes, and then it hit me:  
Five minutes later I emerged into the living-room wearing a pair of boot-shoe-things, a waistcoat, shirt and The Pants. My little sister was suitably horrified and disgusted, but Mum told me where Dad's pocketwatch and hat was, so how could I resist?
