"I'll be honest, Hopkins: I never expected you to come with me to Jiǔbā," Darius mused as he and Casey made their way down the old road to the dying light of the sunset, ignoring the shouting street venders and the swirling crowd of misfits that the Helion docks were known for. "Didn't think you were fond of drinkin'."
"…it ain't the drinkin', tovarishch," Hopkins murmured, hands shoved in her pockets. Her gaze had been locked on the ground for most of the walk, but she glanced up at him briefly. "It's the drunks I don't care for."
The old man's usually twinkling eyes narrowed in suspicion, and a slight frown formed on his face. "You haven't taken to drowning your guilt for what happened, have you?"
"No," Casey replied bluntly, a hint of bitterness in her voice. Then she softened and went back to staring at her feet again. "Just wanted to get away from the ship for a while. Stretch my legs and try to think."

"This is the JF-22 Atlas," a pilot said over the intercom, the strange nuances of the unfamiliar voice filling the small short-range shuttle. When she spoke, Jack and Imam stirred from their sleep and then opened their eyes to listen in.
"I've got your emergency signal and we're homing in. What'syer problem?"
"Here we go," Jack whispered from where she lay on the passenger cot, staring out at the approaching ship with a blank expression.
"Ship crashed," Riddick rumbled into the microphone, his eyes glowing inside the dark shuttle. "Barely got off-planet alive." He strategically left out any encounters with merc ships that might have occurred between then and now.
There was a pause, and the hull of the Atlas slowly opened like a monster's mouth to reveal a cargo bay filled with light. The opening came closer.
"We'll prep for casualties," the pilot of the ship confirmed, her tone focused but un-panicked. "How many of you are there?"
Riddick leaned back. "Three."

[35 Weeks Later]
"You wanted to see me?"
Mal glanced up at Simon as he entered the cockpit of the Serenity. The captain was pursing his lips; a habit he had whenever he was uneasy about something important. Granted, that was nearly twenty-four seven, but this particular time it wasn't his precious ship that he was concerned about. "Yeah. Question."
Simon nodded slowly.
Mal paused, then straightened up and rolled his neck coolly, toying with the course navigation controls. Images of planets zoomed in and out on the screen next to his hand. "We're dropping off some goods on Librae before we reach Gliese. Nothing major: just a short job."
"I'll prepare the medical bay for any potential casualties," the doctor murmured knowingly. "I don't mind what you do, as long as we get out safely."
Mal cleared his throat restlessly. "O'course we will."
Simon paused before turning back towards the corridor: his eyes glinted with sudden suspicion. "What's the catch?"
"Catch?" Mal repeated in a hu

Deep within the hold of Serenity, a hulking figure slipped into the cargo bay and shut the hatch that he had crawled through. It was really a miracle that he had managed to fit into that tiny space; his limbs were nearly as thick as tree trunks, and no amount of dark clothing could hide the broad shoulders and the bulging muscles under his shirt. Still, people like him didn't learn how to escape the slam without also learning how to endure a little pain along the way.
The man's eyes were hidden behind a pair of small black welding goggles, and the faint trace of a dangerous smirk lingered around his features whenever he worked; bounty hunters and smugglers always made for a more entertaining game. He could tell this boat was owned by black market mercs; cargo ships didn't stop in the middle of nowhere and send out 'landing parties' for nothing.

Simon looked up from where he sat on the sofa in the common area as Mal came down the stairs from the engine deck. "…better," he admitted solemnly. "She should be able to get up in the next day or two."
"Good," the captain murmured, nodding in approval. He glanced through the window into the infirmary and smiled almost fondly at River. "Fēngkuáng xiǎozi, crazy kid. Shoulda let Riddick take that shuttle."
"She told me why," Simon replied with a shake of his head. "He would have come back and destroyed Serenity with it."
Mal raised an eyebrow. He looked half-impressed. "Qiāng de érzi, that son of a gun."
"We're lucky she caught up to him in time," Simon muttered in a muffled voice, rubbing his face tiredly in his hands.
Mal let out a bark of dry laughter as he headed for the cargo bay. "Ha! Lucky he didn't know how much money's on your heads. Imagine what he'da pulled for that kind of coin."

Riddick donned his goggles for the first time in several days and curled his fingers around the cabin ladder. With most of the crew off the ship searching for supplies, it was now or never. Unwilling to try and sneak pass the medical bay where Zoë remained with her newborn, the hulking convict had decided on getting to the cargo bay by the less direct route through the control room. There was a small risk of running into River - the little psychic was still lurking about somewhere - but she had been uncommonly helpful to most of Riddick's endeavors so far. Still, he didn't plan to count on anything but her instability.
The upper corridor where the criminal emerged at the top of the ladder was deadly quiet and, as he hoped, completely empty. Riddick felt the ship begin to tremble just moments before the captain's voice echoed throughout the corridors, distorted by slight static.
"Coming in on Raidne now: we may experience some slight turbulence going down, so strapping yourself to something would probably not go amiss."
There was a pause.
"…including a parachute."

Mal clicked his buckle into place and braced one arm against the control panel while he glanced at River. After her recent breakdown on Cygnus, he had demoted her to copilot again, just to be on the safe side. "You set?"
"Almost," was the girl's calm, cryptic reply. She looked over the switches above her head thoughtfully for a moment, as if waiting for a signal of some kind.
"Everyone's secure," came Jayne's call from the galley.
River's eyes snapped forward. Her body quivered with focus and anticipation. "Ready."
Mal nodded and took hold of the wheel, edging it into a downward tilt and turning on the gravity adjusters. "This ain't gonna be pretty."
As if

Jayne, Mal, and Riddick stood in the open doorway to the ship. Having just delivered River into her brother's hands in the infirmary, Mal had called Cobb back into the open air for a brief moment before takeoff. The captain jerked his head towards Riddick. "Give 'im back his shivs 'fore he leaves."
Jayne's jaw dropped in disappointment. "Aw: come on, Mal, be reasonable-"
"NOW, Jayne: ain't got time to argue about it. We need to git before more Alliance ships show up. I promised the man his shivs, so give'm his shivs."

Hello, I recently had a commission done for me of a crossover between Riddick/star wars based off short story I wrote. I would like to post here and share I just don't know how to submit? If you would like to view my gallery and request to add to your group gallery so everyone can enjoy the image?
UPDATE! I acutally don't think that picture is on here anymore or I just can't seem to finds it. I think it was entitled. "Riidck love scene" someone contacted me and told me. Did a search for it and it didn't show up. So sad!
