....I'm not sure I agree; my drawing is basically a sketch, quickly and somewhat crudely drawn, and best viewed from a distance...
...your drawing has carefully rendered fur and shading and shows more precision in the rendering. My drawing has basically "indicated" a fish and "indicated" water, while yours shows much more time and care

That is really nice. I would suggest some shading on the fish around where the bear has it. Hard to believe something so cuddly can be so dangerous
....yes, isn't it interesting that every little child is gifted with a teddy bear, an animal that can rip you to pieces...?
Beautiful graphite work! I particularly like how you used the lines of the pencil to suggest the textures, it adds a lot of life to it.

I've always liked bears for some reason.......This is nice. Wish I could draw animals as well as you. Or... well, I'd settle for being able to shade well XD .

I tend to go for long periods of time ignoring deviations stacking up, then realising I've practically abandoned someone-or-other. Then I usually look through all their gallery and journals, all at once! It's a cuning plan that doesn't really work very well for trying to keep up to date with people's art, haha.And I only fave pictures that really deserve it! And yours do!

As long as he's after the fishies and not you.
...bear attacks are rare--they are as afraid of people as people are afraid of them. Of course there are exceptions, but a typical bear will run from you if you make enough noise. On the infrequent occasions a bear comes down from the woods and enters the neighborhoods of Kodiak, they are usually scared away with firecrackers.

Love the simplicity of it as you captured the textures so beautifully as well. And do my eyes deceive me or is the bear's fur also brushed down as if the guy was wet? Lovely job.
