Fairy Forest by Rick-TinyWorlds Fairy Forest by Rick-TinyWorlds
I discovered this tiny world inside a wonderful, magical forest.
It was a perfect place to be, so perfect, I felt like it was guarded by fairies.
Maybe this mushroom was one of their homes.

So magical! Makes me wanna go to the forest and take some closeup photos like this (but it's a rainy winter now D: ). The effects are amazing ^^

Hm, what do you mean with effects?
Anyway, I'd love to see what tiny worlds you discover! :D

Hey man, if I may advise anything, a little bit more of depth of field would make it perfect for me. Sometimes on your photos the perfect focal point is blurred a bit.

Nah, I disagree. That would alter the bokeh in a way I don't want it to.
The bokeh here really helps to create a clear distinction between foreground and background, as well as creating a dreamy atmosphere. So ... it's more important for the feel of the image, than to have the mushroom super-sharp.
With another lens or focus-stacking I maybe could get it more sharp, while still having the desired bokeh.

Hmm would it destroy the bokeh? If so than maybe just keep the camera on a little bit bigger distance? It's like milimeters to perfection.
But yeah we may be talking about personal preferences here.

With the 18-55mm lens I used, yes. If I'd have move it back to get the front of the mushroom in focus, the top of the mushroom would have got out of focus. It's the standard out-of-the-box lens after all :D

The forest was a wonderful place to be :D The first and only time I really felt like I was upsetting forest ghosts by accidentally stumping on all the mushrooms on the forest floor.
