I like both versions.
The first version could fit very good on a book cover.
The second one looks more like a short scene in a movie; (Blade Runner, Serenity)!

I've been browsing several pieces by the inestimable Mr. Richard, and am officially impressed. You're the Michael Whelan of cityscapes. If I ever get around to making a movie, he will be right at the top of my list for concept and matte work.
