Laying on the grass

I haven't really made any progress in the actual manga, because I'd have to study some facts on 17th century Japan and I haven't had time for that. But I just felt like drawing them, so this happened. This is a cliché, I know...

When I started to draw this I just couldn't stop. We were going to my grandmom's birthday party. I just ended up taking this and a drawing of every character with me so I could keep drawing there. It was funny when I was drawing, sitting on the sofa surrounded by some elder relatives. Then my little brother just commented on an anatomy-fail and proceeded to take his shirt off to show how it's supposed to be. It was somehow so random in the middle of a normal old-people tea-party. xD
Also, not really that surprisingly my reference pictures ended up going around to be stared at arousing questions like "Why does he have two tails?" or "Why are they dressed like that?" But yeah, they at least looked a bit interested at my explanations. xD

I also got some new Promarkers, so I'm finishing the backgrounds of the few unfinished pages. I'd want to put them all to my actual gallery here when they're finished. That just means I'll spam all my watchers with +10 pages of my semi-crappy drawings... I apologize for that beforehand.
