Wow, just stunning. Love the soft organic feel to the whole thing, and the reflected light is magical.

The water is very well done! And I wonder what is doing this creature...

Swords, spears, arrows.  They are only chunks of wood and metal designed to puncture fleshy bags that will die(slow or fast)when cut.  Their power comes from pathetic muscles, laughable reflexes and dull wits.  When confronted with something harder, less vulnerable, more versatile, they reveal themselves for what they are: useless.  For each Aragorn and Gandalf a thousand ended up in the pots of the monsters.

Ah, the return of the 'Why is leg' meme.

Behold, it's descendant, 'Why is dust'.

Wow. I love the Eldrazi cards mostly just because of the artwork. They looks so badass I can't resist building a Processor deck. Good job!

one of the new Eldrazi processors.
EDIT: I love your work on these eldrazi arts(this one and mist intruder are the only card arts I have by you[from the new set, i have a couple end hostilities]), hope to see you in the next expansion as well.

Woah. I love the depth of this picture. Also, its fascinating how you rendered water, it looks so lively and cold. I love design of the creature, it looks so alien and i really have a thing for exoskeleton carapaces and external muscles. And this pattern on the beack, what is it? I'm not sure, my guess it's some fossils or so, anyway I totally dig it's pattern, again, it looks so alien and organic, it makes me moist.

Hi Jason,
Dunno if you remember me, HunterKiller_ from ol' CA.org. Anyway, it's amazing to see how far you've come. Congratulations.

This is 1000 px high already, which isn't much smaller than most desktops already. Anything larger would mean areas are getting cropped or you just want a free printable copy :P

I adore the Eldrazi, and a great deal of their artwork is some of my favorite to come out of MTG in some time, THIS is by far and away one of the coolest Eldrazi pictures I've seen yet.

My hat off to you, sir. My hat wayyyy off.

That stems from an artwork for an earlier card 'Pensive Minotaur', wherein people would joke that the minotaur is wondering 'Why is leg?'.

I expect it will be a reoccurring trend in the future :)

Meditative eldrazi contemplates existence. More specifically, what parts of existence still need to be consumed.

I keep staring at that beautiful water at the bottom of the picture! It kinda steals the attention hehe.
I'm not entirely sure what's going on in the picture.. Perhaps I'm just slow :-)

But that water sure looks good!

That mana-devouring ancient monstrosity looks so contemplative as it plays with the granular residue of its latest meal. What is it thinking about? There is so much personality implied in this image that only makes it seem all the more uncanny. I love it.

your depth of field seems haphazard and selective to a fault

it probably looks absolutely excellent on the card, but full-size the details make themselves
