I've been gone for a while...again, because I've been focused on my musical activities as well as moving to a different country. But I'm starting to brainstorm the next chapter of this epic story, so worry not, I'm not dead or anything....
What's up everyone! The next chapter of Jill Rhodes's tale is illustrated and is currently being written, so it'll be up in a couple days or so, thus concluding Part 3 and marking the halfway point of the story. I do, however, have something fairly important to make known.
This project is a labor of love, as much as anything else I put my creative mind to. However, it does take a colossal amount of time and energy to get just one chapter done. By my estimation, this newest picture and story will have taken close to 50 hours of brainstorming, outlining and writing/illustrating to do within the span of a week. So, I've been MIA once again for...forever. The reason for this is quite simple: I'm heavily involved in the making of a progressive rock album. Yes, I am also a musician. Anyway, its an ambitious project that involves a number of other musicians, and needless to say its taken up a huge amount of my time these past few months. If you like Rush, King Crimson, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Yes, you'll probably like the music. But it also draws from a number of other genres too; the goal was to avoid sticking too much to one sound.
