Mm, before I get descended upon by WWII aviation buffs, please note that in drawing/painting the plane, I went with the design depicted in this particular episode of Gargoyles. How accurate it actually is to whatever model aeroplane it might be remains to be seen.
Anywho, straight out of London is Griff from "Gargoyles," laying the smackdown on a German aircraft in a scene which, due to time constraints, had to be cut from the episode. Dem's the breaks. Since this is technically fanart, it goes on this account.
Brought to you by the letter D (for Doppleganger). Griff is the property of Disney.
This is such an amazing picture. This episode was my favorite growing up, and I was a huge fan of the dogfights. Me being an aviation buff I can identify the plane in the picture. in the show the plane depicted was a real fighter. The BF-109G6. Though the ones in Gargoyles had the Cannons under the wings removed (in reality they would be removed because they would cause severe drag)
