Oni Akuma SSF4

Oni Akuma, one of the four new characters to Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition.

Some of you might remember this from the wip [link] i posted awhile ago.

Oni (鬼) are creatures from Japanese folklore, variously translated as demons, devils, ogres or trolls. They are popular characters in Japanese art, literature and theater.

The word "oni" is sometimes speculated to be derived from on, the on'yomi reading of a character (隠) meaning to hide or conceal, as oni were originally invisible spirits or gods which caused disasters, disease, and other unpleasant things. These nebulous beings could also take on a variety of forms to deceive (and often devour) humans. Thus a Chinese character (鬼) meaning "ghost" came to be used for these formless creatures.

funny enough the chinese also use the character (鬼) meaning "ghost", to refer to foreigners.

Oni Akuma is referenced from the popular manga 'RYU FINAL' [link] in the manga ryu kills akuma but not before akuma punches a hole through ryu's chest.
so now we have oni akuma, a demon/ghost.
