I don't get offended by it and I usually don't bother correcting people because my name is kind of misleading so it's really my fault, hah.

The thing that baffles me is when people call me "they", which seems to happen a lot.  If you're not sure of my gender, it takes literally one click to check my profile.  I think these days a lot of people are so paranoid about referring to someone as the wrong gender that they just call everyone "they" to play it safe. =|

If it's not on purpose, to aggravate, I couldn't care less. Everyone mispronounces my names, started calling me 'madam' at the age of 13 (which still makes no sense to me) and I'll have to admit addressing people with the wrong pronoun when so tired I could barely remember my own name.

this happens to me on a daily basis and I don't really mind.

As an agender I live for the "excuse me sir... oh sorry madam... sir? I'm so sorry omg sir... madam" because while these people are figuring out my gender they don't realize I'm already dead inside and I don't care.

Not by mistake, but if it's on purpose then it's kind of a douchey thing to do to someone

With my beard is quite difficult to mistake me for a woman, but unfortunately it happens every time somebody calls me by phone, and I find it really irritating...

strangers gender me correctly more than people i know do tbh
i just get that sinking feeling every time i get "she'd", especially by a stranger because most people in my life still see me as female.

I don't really care what people call me here or irl lol but I'll definitely be offended or just annoyed if someone called me a "thing."..It actually happen in real life ahaha. I don't think he meant it but still that was just rude lol. But now I'm wondering why the fuck couldn't he just say "she" or "he"...instead I was called "thing".

I don't even remember the conversation that lead for him to call me that lol. Now that I think about it, I think anyone would be offended if they were called that as well.

I could literally not care less. Someone misgenders me (somehow) then whatever.
And if I know them well they're more than welcome to call me fag/homo/queer, etc.
I'm easy going when it comes to such things. They're just words, after all.

Now, if someone I don't know gets pissy that I misgendered them (especially if they
use some weird pronoun like zee/zir/etc.) then I'm gonna get pissy right back at them.
Either respectfully explain my mistake or sod off. I ain't got time for that kind of bull. :p

I identify more mentally with guys any way, and I've cross played a ton more so then I've cosplayed characters with the same sex as myself. So I'm cool.

If its purposeful yes.
It not no. Accidents happen! I have a trans friend who only came out as trans recently and ive misgendered him more then once. Not purposefullym im just so used to using female pronouns they slip. Thankfully he understands, and i apologize lots.

I've never been misgendered though, im a girl and always have been, and i look rather girlish :P

I do get annoyed when people misgender my character stellar who is non-binary. People constantly misgender them as male

I'm quite okay with whatever gender I'm called on the internet. I've been referred to as a dude a lot whenever I play video games and since I don't talk, I don't mind =P

I only get slightly bothered when people call me "Reyn" instead of "Rey" as a nickname. It feels weird idk lol
I feel like made this poll before
I don't remember when though
Oh well

Rey not reyn
Noted :P

Haha, I just thought that people usually take the laziest of routes when giving people nicknames and since Rey is only three letters, it is the most popular nickname I've been called. Buuuut... I guess Reyn is quite unique though XP
