I absolutely love them with feathers. Maybe because I'm a feather fan, but still. I am currently obsessed with this new dinosaur mod I added to my minecraft coupled with a morph mod. So I'm just playing minecraft as a feathered Deinonychus ;v; . And sometimes a feathered Compy which is small enough to fit into one block spaces > v > So I have tiny mansions
Just watched Jurassic World and I noticed the velociraptors don't have feathers like I know they are supposed to (or is said to) have. Not a downer in my opinion, I like them a lot better without feathers XD
Feather imprints on/around raptor fossils gives the assumption that some dinosaurs had feathers so that's why it's more realistic XP I just don't like them as much since they kinda look like strange rock star ostriches 8'D But if they're drawn in a cartoon/stylized way instead of the "photo realistic" style, then I don't find them too bad ovo
(spoilers of JW, to people who read comments owo )
I like how the main scientist explained why that's so, that if they were going for realism they would have looked very different from the beginning, but they weren't looking to make accurate dinosaurs, just ones that would WOW the people. Really cool how they tied that in (making them bigger, more scary looking, etc) was all part of the plan, according to this movie xD
Yeah I heard about that which really appealed to me but to other people, it kinda turned them off X'D I remember watching a YouTube review on the Indominus rex, the main big guy, and a palaeontologist said it would be a lot more badass/cooler if they added feathers XP I think it's cool as it is but everyone has their own opinions 8'D
I didn't really mind that there was a lack of feathers xD It looked cool as a giant bird-like lizard, even thought it might have been more accurate as a giant lizard-like bird. Both are pretty awesome.
