Steampunk Gargs

My first ever entry for the MGC (Found on DA here). Of all the gargoyles, Lexington seems like he'd take best to the steampunk genre. This drawing started with him, but then he looked so small and alone I had to add in the rest of the younger gargs. Brooklyn is always happy to make use of whatever motorbikes Lex builds, even if they're steam-driven. I wanted to make more use of textures but I just ran out of time. The background texture is courtesy of Cobweb-stock.

Cool! There are some days when I wish this show would come back - either back in syndication on a new Disney network that broadcasts old Disney animated shows (from Gummi Bears to Kim Possible and all the good stuff in between), or maybe in production as a reboot. And then I remember all the other reboots of animated shows I held near and dear to my heart, and as I try to re-glue the pieces for the umpteenth time I thank the stars no one has thought to reboot Gargoyles, or adapt it to the big screen.

Excuse me for my misnaming (
).
I like Gargoyles, although I do have a habit of misnaming certain characters. You see I only got Gargoyles a part of the time because when I grew up Disney was considered premium and we didn't get it. When it wasn't considered premium we would get it for spouts (like a few months) then it would return to premium again. So, naturally "Gargoyles" was a show both my sister and I liked yet we never really got to watch it as much as we would have liked
Hence the mix up in characters because we haven't seen much of the seasons only a few episodes here and there. Although, saving money for DVD's...

It's cool!
We never had a very extensive TV package, so I'm not sure what channel I saw it on, but I do remember being excited by the previews and seeing the very first episode premiere on my birthday. Now I've got the DVD's and some pirated stuff from the second season that hasn't been released on DVD. You can probably find a lot of it on Youtube though...
