Well, I haven't written a new journal in over a year so... Another year of college down. Hem hem hem. I don't draw much anymore, but I've got a month off before summer sessions start so maybe... I closed my finger in a drawer several days ago so typing this out was really difficult.

Well, that's the end of my first year at Berkeley. It kind of sucked. I think I did well on my finals at least, which makes me really happy; this semester has truly been from hell. I've at least figured out that I can't imagine doing anything else. I find a comfort in math I never found in art. I wanted to upload some of the engineering shit I did or whatever, but it appears to be gone forever from the CAD labs. For E28 (engineering design), our final project was to create a system that would deliver a laser pointer some consistent amount of feet. Our final working drawings were terrifying and 17 pages long, and our model got 1st place fo

Hell, I figured I'd update my journal after like 3 months. I just finished my last final, but I'm stuck in NorCal until Saturday evening. We all know what I'll be doing with my free time... I really enjoyed my first semester at Cal and I'm pretty sure the next will also be awesome. Unfortunately, I'm working and taking a significantly heavier courseload next semester (Comp Sci 3, Calc 1B, Physics 7A, Spanish 25 - works out to be 10 hours of lab a week and 11 of lecture) so I'll have a lot less free time. Merry Christmas and stuff, I guess.
