... so I did another Grumpy Cat and put her on eBay. My computer's monitor went tits-up and it was out of warranty, so I need to come up with a bit of extra cash. I went with a slightly different look on this Grumpy, using two colors instead of three on the mask, and making it stand out a bit more by adding some thin lines of shading. It kept the piece interesting for me, and it may just be the next step in the evolution of the way I paint furry-faced critters.There are about four days left on the auction, with only one bid so far, so if you want one of my Grumpy Cats, now is your chance! I'm doing two more Micro-Trikky Grumpy Cats on commission, and then I won't be taking any more requests for that one. I can do you a zombie, or a Frankenstein monster, or a blue pirate cat with an eyepatch, but these two will make for eight Grumpy Cats with very few other projects inbetween and I need a break. A long break. I'm burned out on that goddamn cat.I will be doing the occasional Grumpy Cat from time to time, and putting it in my shop, and I may be open to commissions for this guy again in a few months, so if you really want one, keep an eye on my Facebook and/or my DeviantArt site, where I'll be announcing them.
