Inka-Sternbilder

Mirad hacia el cielo.
Mirad hacia Hanan Pacha.
Mirad hacia Mayu.

Hoch oben in der Ferne,
In dem Fluss der Sterne
Sieht man schwarze Flecken.
Hinter denen stecken
Tiere, zahm und wilder
Sternenlose Bilder.

Mirad hacia el cielo.
Mirad hacia Hanan Pacha.
Mirad hacia Mayu.

Im Sternenpanorama
Kümmert sich das Lama
Um ihr kleines Fohlen.
Völlig unverhohlen
Will der Fuchs es fressen.
Die Kröte unterdessen
Will die Schlange haben.
An der Kröte laben
Will der Vogel sich.
So und derartig
War der Inka-Himmel
Nachts im Sterngewimmel.

Mirad hacia el cielo.
Mirad hacia Hanan Pacha.
Mirad hacia Mayu.

The Prince of Moths
I dreamt myself a Prince of Moths Upon a brittle autumn leaf; And, though a novice in my state Of wings and things, I found I took Quite readily: I fashioned up A crown of thorns and glittering moss, With a pile of blossoms, laced with webs And iridescent spiders' legs, With feathers glossed with gossamer And freckled dew of violet hue. Thus decked, I leaped and left my leaf, And viewed myself in silver pools; And reasoned that a moth like I, Of state and breeding, should desire Estate and wealth, and thus acquire An industry and beauteous bride. I fashioned in a hollow tree A quarry for the ants to mine, With beetles as their keepers, set T

Momma said to never marry an astronaut, they will always prefer the twinkling starlight to the light in your eyes. They'll only end up in ships that float aimlessly in zero gravity and you will not be there. Momma said to never marry an astronaut. You will stand firmly on the earth, clutching the ground and knowing they will always prefer the twinkling starlight. Planets will fracture and stars will collapse long before he recognizes he can travel to the light in your eyes.

A Dark Artist's Heart
Now take me down to my dark and sombre place So I can write woeful words such as this But don’t leave me there to give life to my thoughts As I’m cursed with such soft and slender wrists And hands that are capable of mastering The medicine bottles infant safe lock No more than three a day the prescription says I peel off the label and down the lot Now take me down to my dark and sombre place Where skies are as black as a raven’s wing And with no potential to spread them out wide With my meek, melancholic offerings Just a pin prick of light in the sable sky Like the raven’s eye within its feathers And as it blinks mo
Jahresschreiber (9/52): Weltenwochen: Suedamerika by RetSamys
