This is my second entry for :icondreamers-welcome:'s monthly challenge. This month, the theme was break.
It is also part of a challenge that I set for myself: Each day, I will make a new pencil sketch. Most people don't see them because they're not watching my Scraps and also not reading my Journal. Click the navigation above to see more.

In case you are wondering: Yes, this is pencil, too. I use the GIMP to colour the sketches so that they don't look all grey.

So far, I consider the fisherman's not quite abandoned hut on the moon of starry plants to be the best result of my daily sketch project..

All flying islands, floating rocks, hovering cities and the likes should be submitted to :iconflying-islands-here:, a group I co-founded because it didn't exist yet. Flying islands can be found everywhere, in books, in movies, in TV series, in comics and, of course, in games. As for everything important, there is a Wikipedia article about this.

Hi, I am here from the :iconprojectcomment: comment tag (Comment Tag #4 Open to more sign-ups!) - My tag was "envy", I picked this piece as I felt people would be envious of this piece and would love to be able to create magical pieces like this one.

I get this magical fantasy feel from this piece. I really love the detail, such as the rope for the hook wearing out from use and the reflection in the water. I really like how you drew the house, with foundations and detail on the wall. I cannot really think on how to improve, maybe the lines of the water looking less sharp might improve the piece. The colours are well picked and match the image well. Overall, I really like this piece.
