Away from my computer (well, at least I have time now), so what can I do with sketches? This. Wheeeeeeeeeeee...

What does a reading rat do while it's too cold to go outside? Book sleighing!
It was really fun doing all the book and paper sketch, the rat could use some improvement, but meh...

Good choice! I mean, of all the books to skip and to use as a sled, pick the one my teachers told me to skip (!) and the one that's mass-produced anyway.

I liked it ,but the first part was more interesting. It's so beautiful and yet such an underrated play.

In general? Traditionally, animations consist of frames, still images replacing each other very fast so that they create an illusion of movement/change. The GIF image is based on this principle. It saves a series of images in a single file and displays them in an animation.

You're probably looking for a way to save your animation as a GIF. After you created your frames (either by exporting it in you animation program or by drawing them frame by frame), there are a lot of programs and services out there to convert them into a GIF. You can use online services like iaza.com, picasion.com,rather, gickr.com, makeagif.com, gifmaker.me and many more rather quickly. There are conversion programs for no other purpose than saving animations as a GIF, Animake, Ulead GIF Animator, GIF Construction Set, CoffeeCup GIF Animator and Anmagic GIF are some of them. And then there are the image editing programs like GIMP and PhotoShop that support GIF animations (and with Plugins/Addons/Scripts, they offer even more functions).

Or did you mean how I do it? For this one, I used :iconcreatoon: to make the animation and then :icongimpplz: for setting the speed of the frames, cleaning up one or two things, optimising it for GIF and then finally for saving it as a GIF.

=) Yeah, that means your frames are in the wrong order and you have to rearrange them if your program allows it.
