Patina Pyramid Face

This is my 9th ring sculpture and 2nd pyramid sculpture of similar design. It was constructed with 14 gauge copper rings of various ID. Internal structure is constructed with a chainmaille weave called "captive orbital hex cage" in 12 levels so the pyramid is solid with this weave. Internal pyramid was then chemically patina'd and decorated with polished/twisted copper rings and spars. This is the top section for a much larger pyramid I've been constructing which when finished will have hundreds of levels and will incorporate many hundreds of thousands of rings. All elements are handmade from standard wire stock and are hand polished without the use of any powertools.
