<sup>This last year had been amazing. Ciara reflected back for a moment – remembering being invited to participate at an up-and-coming Arabian stables, working with supportive and patient staff members willing to teach her how to handle their filly, and each of the memories she had shared with the gorgeous frisky filly (and goofy sidekick puppy) – she was so grateful for the experiences and opportunities afforded to her. And now, just eleven months later, to her amazement, she and Keira were at the Arabian Nationals Championship Show.

All of the training and preparation that built upon Keira's exposure, handling, and experience were about to be put to the test. Ciara prayed that Keira would perform exactly like she had practiced all week.

The little filly danced into the arena full of charisma and fire, her tail waving like a raised flag, the hairs trailing in the wind, as her tail had finally begun to grow out. Keira moved regally and energetically, snorting and staring at the judges, as if to say "look at me." She fell in line, and walked next to Ciara on a loose lead as they made their way around the arena. The judges called for the horses to line up, in preparation for their presentations. As they sat on deck, Ciara began staging Keira, setting her feet and tightening her topline. Ciara raised her hand ever so slightly, encouraging Keira to elevate and stretch her neck. Perfect, Ciara thought, now if she can just do this in the center of the ring….</sup>

Keira was my first Art-RP character, created just one year ago. I am so excited to have my foundie filly already at AHA Finest Status, and qualified to show in Nationals. No matter how they do, this has been an amazing ride and great experience, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for these guys.
