The fact that many people are breaking the law and violating copyright doesn't make it acceptable or legal for that matter.
If credited properly I generally have no problem with people doing that, but asking for permission is more than just politeness, it's a legal necessity.

You probably stumpled across it in my favorites. Please make sure to contact Andreas about permission and make sure to credit him accordingly.
In general it's always better to ask in advance since some of the images by professionals or semi-professionals are more than likely licensed to clients who don't always turn a blind eye towards violations of that licensing. Always contact the artist first.
