The haunted mansion

I shall say this work fits perfectly the atmosphere. I love the overall composition made of a dark atmosphere but at the same time very mysterious. This mysterious element is well shown by the use of violet-bluish hues in particular on the sky and foreground. I find particularly interesting how things were re-arranged in a wise way for example the spider webs on the gate, statue etc. but my favourite one is the web on the upper right corner of the image. It adds a nice touch that makes the composition a mix between a photo that induces the viewer to enter the pic and a digital work. Nice job with candles too. They reminds me of a will-o-wisp. This adds an nice eerie effect and a lovely chromatic contrast among this cold colour. The papal statue is awesome, holy and unholy at the same time and that flash of light on it is visually very powerful. Despite it's a year old Artwork i find it perfect for the incoming Halloween atmosphere.
