Vaporwave is an aesthetic trend associated with design and electronic music. The music often takes samples of R&B songs from the 1980s and 1990s (though samples can and do come from other genres or time periods), then cuts the samples into smaller pieces and slows them down to create a new sound. Directly linked to this music, the art of the vaporwave aesthetic is built on nostalgia informed by art and design trends of the late 1970s to the early 2000s. Visual influences include the Memphis Group, MTV and Nickelodeon programming from the 1980s and 1990s, early computer graphics, shopping malls, logos, computer skylines, anime, a disposable paper cup design, and much more. It has been quite some time since i've actively posted here, let alone made a journal. And boy oh boy did i actually miss doing so. Place is different but easy to get about on, took me a hot minute to figure our the journal feature XD But anyway, i had a ton of notifications, faves and everything else on stuff since i've been away. So much so i can't say i can get back to all of them save the more recent. But because of that, i just want to post here: Thank you all my watchers and people who faved my stuff. New news on Old Work

WOW. I just realized it has been nearly a year since I've had any form of substantial activity. Good lord! Though a majority of it is due to the fact that I've not had a proper scanner for about that long. I'll try and find my old one and try and get back on the ball because I swear I've been more active than you'd think :cries:That aside, like I said I have in fact been working on a few things and recently it's been in the DBZ fandom! Mostly and in its entirety a fanverse with my biffer :iconmiss-dnl: :D So I have quite a few things done and or cooking up for that. I also have a bunch of oldish Gravity Falls fanworks that I've yet to post...
