Schoolstuff.14 More backgrounds

Another compilation! The thing here is, this was all for one and the same assignment. But it wasn't even required to do backgrounds like these for it. The main goal was just to make sure that everyone understood the animation program, TV Paint, and the different phases of a project; how to name stuff properly, keep things organized. So we were asked to do a simple animated short, the theme was a race between random characters we were free to choose.

I of course had to go all out on the backgrounds????? Without actually planning much of anything through???? You might notice the strong start with the first couple of ones, and my focus just slipping as the weeks went by. (But also, how the frick do you draw treetops seen from above???? I just couldn't figure out why I couldn't make it look nice and I really disliked that last one) So yeah, there's obviously still lots of stuff for me to learn.

Btw the second background was meant to be a diagonal camera pan, so the corners aren't drawn in, since the camera wouldn't see those parts.

I never finished the animation though. I reached the rough animatic stage, animated one or two scenes, and cleaned up 1 single character. (basically the minimum of the assignment to show the teacher I know how to do it with the program) and then moved on :'I oh, and I animated the water in nearly all the river shots for some reason?? I really wanted to see what it would look like, even though I've never animated water before, so I spent a lot of time just doing that.

Really didn't think things through,, got a bit bummed out when the first background was my favourite, and I then had to struggle to recreate that look like 10 more times.

Great learning experience tho!
