I’ve been on this site for 16 years and was a Core member for the majority of that time. I have almost 32,000 watchers and over 2,600,000 page views. I’ve made a lot of fans, followers, and friends here over the years. Some of which have been deviantart staff members, who are friendly, helpful, and enjoy my work. I’ve really had some great times on this site. A few years ago when dA made some major changes to their platform - changes I strongly disagreed with - I became less active here and started using other platforms more frequently and cancelled my Core membership while still continuing to post here off and on, and continuing to sell prints and photosets via their store. I’ve decided to leave dA permanently after learning that they allow artists to withdraw funds made by creating and hustling and selling their work ONLY IF THEY’RE PAID CORE SUBSCRIBERS. In other words: “You want the money you earned with your art? Fuck you. Pay us and we’ll let you have it. Until then, it’s ours.” Bye bye, dA.
