pygfaust hat's ja schon erklärt :) Hättest du es eher erkannt, wenn ich ne 10 statt 4 benutzt hätte? In der deutschen Ausgabe hat das 'Y' nämlich den Punktwert 10 :)

naja... ich hab vielleicht 2* Scrabble gespielt (das erste und das letzte Mal, bevor die Kinder alle Steine in den Legokisten versenkt haben)... so dass ich da keine Autorität bin :D

In the game Scrabble, which uses tiles like this (but much smaller :-)) "Y" is worth 4 points.

I admit, for a moment I thought it referenced V4, but then I blinked and saw the hashtags ...

You are correct, and thanks for chipping in with the explanation :) Fun fact:)In the German edition the 'Y' is worth 10 points because we have very few words containing 'Y' in the German language. But I thought it more appropriate to reference the (original) English language edition :)

Of course, "whyfor" is synonymous with "wherefore" (as in Romeo) both of which basically mean "why?" ... so your question is "Whyfor the Y's 4?"
