Whipped this up real quick, been meaning to for a while. These are the types of files I use to get stylized (not realistic!) opalescent and pearlescent effects in my art. Add a nacreous pop to your work~

This is free for personal and commercial use but if you wanna toss me a buck or two my venmo is $rejamrejam :D

TERMS OF USE:
feel free to do whatever you want with them to be honest
but if you redistribute the files I'd appreciate it if you'd keep the README text file in there

DO NOT SELL THESE, but feel free to distribute them freely
use them for commercial/for-profit work as you wish, no attribution required

HOW TO USE:
the demo PSDs include some sample ideas for how to use the images to create a faux pearl or opal effect
try them with different blending modes and opacities!
try adding blurs and filters!
have fun!

HOW THESE WERE MADE:
first, I collected stock photos with iridescent/scattered colors in them (gemstones, flowers, bubbles, etc.)
original source stock photos were sourced from royalty-free commercially-licensed sources
images were then painted over, distorted, filtered, blurred, edited, and cleaned up in photoshop
