All my life I've been drawn to the power of images and I've always loved telling stories and expressing ideas through drawing. I use different styles and techniques and am attracted to a variety of subject matter depending on what it is I'm trying to express.
I'm also very into fantasy, science fiction, mythology, tales, legends, epic sagas, etc. Lately I'm interested in visually creating and depicting a fictional world of my own imagining and fleshing out a setting for my own characters and stories to take shape in.
Due to a love and respect for animals and nature, I am perhaps most notably interested in creating fictional animals and creatures, whether it's a slight variation on an animal that's familiar from the real world or a semi-realistic take on mythological beasts and fantasy creatures. While attempting not to focus too much on "realism" I strive to give my world a sense of authenticity by grounding creatures in relatively believable anatomical structures and taking inspiration from real life animals, both present-day and extinct.
Thank you so much for the watch, I really appreciate it!
You're super underrated! With the amount of talent that goes in your work, you deserve way more followers. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much, I very much appreciate that! I'm not good at promoting myself or marketing my work but that makes it all the more rewarding when someone comes across it and finds an appreciation for it.
You could always post on other more popular social media accounts and promote your stuff on there. But, a lot of them are toxic places (Twitter and TikTok are the first to come to my mind), so not sure if you want to do that. But, it’s always an option.
Yeah, some people are really good at using social media to effectively promote their work but I'm particularly bad at the whole social media thing, it seems. I don't like twitter and tiktok (and don't use them), precisely because I agree that they, and so many aspects of social media in general, are toxic. I'm on instagram but my views keep dwindling, and in a culture of social media "influencers" dominating the attention on all the major platforms it'd practically be a full-time job to keep up and attract views. I don't care for it.
Thank you for watching my page. You have some amazing content.
My pleasure - really cool work!
