Chestnutspark: His other half; Myrtle’s a little too attached to his sister. He’s practically glued to her side most of the time and tends not to make decisions or go places without checking in with her. She’s his best friend and so outgoing, so she must have all the best ideas, right? After all, she’s all he has left.
Berryleap: While Chestnut had grown distanced from their mother, Myrtle had always been very attached to her; when she and their father would argue, he grew extremely stressed out for their mother. Her death hit him hard and he still hasn’t quite gotten over it.
Dandelionfleck: Despite everything, Myrtle still wants to love his father. The fact that Dandelionfleck had left Berryleap to die when the dogs attacked broke his heart, and the wound deepened when Dandelionfleck joined the rebels. But even though he did, and even though he shouldn’t, Myrtleroot forgives him.

so,, I have (checks notes) three characters with disfiguring scars already which would make this fourth one,,,, 1200 ss,,,, sweats I can pay for the trait since I’ve got ss to spare, or we can split or something because making u foot that huge bill would be mean, i feel like LOL
I imagine he was more vocal about his anxieties when he was younger (esp. as kits when their parents argued regularly) but as he’s grown and lost those he’s close to, he keeps it much closer to his chest now, probably only telling Chestnut about it if he’s really, really worried.
I like the idea that he could have wanted to follow in Chestnut’s footsteps and be a navigator with her when she first got the idea, but after the gathering explosion he gave up on that dream.
